Eating Healthy Students are not eating healthy enough in lunch. They are never getting the salads or the 90 calorie Skim Milk. We need to think of a way to give kids a nutritious lunch that includes (Fruits and Juices.) With the fruit we can provide some Delicious, Juicy, and Healthy (Watermelon) that is NOT SPOILED. We can also give healthy smoothies, (Blueberry, Strawberry Banana, and more!!!!) Have People Try It – We can get 10 people to try the watermelon and 1 kind of smoothie and see what they think. If 6 or more say they like it I say we should provide it. If 6 or more say that they dislike it than we will think of something else. Get permission- First we need to see if it is okay with the teachers and the principal. If they say yes than we start the next day. During The Project- The smoothies and fruits are in, now we just have to see what happens. We see how many get the fruits and how many get the smoothies and we will double it for tomorrow. See how they react and see what happens. Taking Suggestions- When lunch is done, we see some random students who took the drinks or fruits and asked them what they think and what we can improve. Maybe we can come up with new combinations for the drinks and we can add new fruits from other countries.Trying New Ingredients- We get new ripe fruits and get mixing and displaying. We wait till the next day and see what happens. After The Project- The kids eat and we see the reactions. Looking at the Tray- We see how many students are taking the project. Later On- We see that many students have now eaten healthy and their nutrients are in balance. Finally- We just keep trying new ingredients and set them down for the next day. We are not saying that you should stop eating fast food, you can get at least 2 each month but just make sure that you go back to what you were eating the next day and make sure you burned of the calories you gained real quick so you won't be that addicted.
